Thursday of the Fourteenth Week in Ordinary Time 2014

At daily Mass this week we have been hearing from the prophet Hosea in our first readings. His words should really stir us to have greater communion with the Lord. Three things stand out to me from Hosea’s message today: 1) that God has loved us from our youth; 2) that God draws us along with bands of love; 3) that God even “stoops” down to meet us where we are! How can we even begin to fathom the depths of God’s tender love for us?
