A drizzly morning in North Billerica, exploring #Billerica

Between the Masses this morning I took a quick stroll over to the Fordway Bridge in North Billerica. Despite the drizzly weather there were still some nice views of the Concord River.

In the homily this morning I quoted Pope Benedict XVI’s encyclical letter, Deus Caritas Est:

Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction.

I tried to show the importance of knowing Our Lord and Our Lady in the Christian life.

Happy Sunday!

Update: I think the photos above are right around the bend from an earlier post Exploring #Billerica Concord River by the Faulkner Mill.
