Evening stroll around St Theresa’s in #Billerica with photos

After two days of rain here in Billerica, Massachusetts the sun poked out just as it was going down.

There was a slight rainbow over the rectory… I didn’t find any pots of gold, though.

The setting sun cast a wonderful light through the Sacred Heart stained glass window above the choir loft. When I’m not looking at the congregation or the missal this is where I look during Mass. I especially like how Our Lord’s arms are open to receive each of us. This photo only shows Saints Peter and Thomas, but all of the apostles are gathered around the feet of Our Lord.

FYI: the blue shield that surrounds the Lord Jesus is called a nimbus.
